Research shows that how brands engage with their suppliers has a big impact on the working conditions. You can imagine that demanding the lowest possible price and forcing suppliers to deliver huge orders in a short amount of time leads to stressful working conditions for the workers on the ground. These are extremely common, but harmful tools, conventional brands use in order to get "competitive advantage". At Blanks, we reject these business practices. We work with our hand in hand with our manufacturer to agree on a price that works for both them and us. We do not demand that our manufacturer push their workers harder in order to meet unreasonable production expectations. We do not put the skilled artisans making Blanks jewelry in a position where they have to work overtime.
