Building an Ethical Brand

Buying ethically isn’t always easy and Blanks is changing that for fine jewelry. Here are just some of the ways we keep our commitment to being an ethical brand.

Sourcing: We spent over a year vetting manufacturers and selected those with a proven track record of creating a safe and healthy work environment for their skilled artisans. We also frequently work directly with independent metalsmiths and stone setters, helping preserve their skill and artistry. We use recycled gold and silver and our gemstones are ethically sourced and traceable!

Giving back: Every month, we select an organization and donate about 10% of our profits to their cause or efforts. Since the program launched in November of 2023, we have donated more than $15K to various organizations and social causes. These range from widely known international organizations such as Doctors Without Borders, to US based organizations such as Women in Need and Women's Sports Foundation, to local grassroots efforts that are directly tied to the community. We have also frequently donate directly to families impacted by natural disasters such like the Maui wildfires in 2023, Hurricane Helen in 2024, and the Palisades Fires and the Texas floods in 2025.

Price Transparency: We prioritize educating customers on what it truly costs to source ethically. On most of our product pages we often have a breakdown of the material, labor, transportation, and duty costs. On some pieces, our production partners may not give us that full breakdown and in those instances we still publish the full final cost of the piece to us.
